Classic Smooth
BestsellerPeanuts and a bit of sea salt. Pourable, if you leave it somewhere warm.
Roasted in Somerset since 2019
We roast most mornings and grind it while it's still warm. No palm oil and no sugar, so there isn't much in the jar except peanuts and a bit of salt. A batch takes about forty minutes and makes twenty-five jars.
Free tasting at the counter. You don't need to book for that.
Sorry, we've sold out of Chilli & Lime until the next roast on Thursday.
What people say
"Popped in for one jar and came out with four. The salted caramel one didn't last the weekend."
"My kids will only eat this one now. Which is annoying because it's the expensive one. Lovely stuff though."
"Went in for a birthday present and got a proper chat about how they make it. Nice to see it actually being made."

Our story
In 2019 my brother bought a jar of peanut butter that turned out to be mostly palm oil. He went on about it for the best part of a week. Then we found a second-hand roaster on Facebook Marketplace for £180 and thought we'd have a go.
That roaster is still going. It's got a dent in the side from when we moved it. We roast most weekday mornings and grind to order, and that is honestly the whole trick. Warm peanuts go smooth on their own, without anything added to help them along.
It's all made here. Batches are small enough that we taste every one, which is usually a good thing and sometimes means we eat a shocking amount of peanut butter in a day.

Every one is 340g. We tried a bigger range once and it did not go well.
Peanuts and a bit of sea salt. Pourable, if you leave it somewhere warm.
Same as the smooth, with chopped roasted nuts stirred in at the end.
The caramel is cooked here in the pan, then flaky salt on top. Good on toast. Also good off a spoon, no judgement.
A bit of heat and plenty of lime. My mum puts it on noodles.
Any three jars in a box with a note written by whoever is on the till.
We supply a few cafés and delis round here. Ring or email and ask for trade prices.

We roast most weekday mornings, so it smells good in here before 11. If the door is shut, we are probably out the back with the machine.
