Everything we do, what it costs, and how long to set aside. Prices are the same on a Saturday as they are on a Tuesday.
Skin fade and cut
Clippers taken down to the skin at the sides and back, blended up, then scissor finished on top. Includes a hot towel and a brush down.
Scissor cut
Cut entirely by hand, no clippers on top. Suits longer styles and hair that is growing out of a fade.
Cut and beard, together
Both jobs in one sitting, with the beard shaped to match the cut. The cheapest way to have both done properly.
Beard trim and shape
Trimmed to length, edged along the cheek and neckline, oiled and combed through.
Hot towel shave
Steamed towel, badger brush and soap, straight razor, cold towel to finish. Not a quick tidy up.

The full works for a wedding, an interview, or a birthday you would rather look smart for.
Kids cut, 12 and under
Patient with first-timers and with anyone who would rather not be here. We have a booster board for the chair.
Over 65s cut
Any cut on the board, same care, less money. No need to ask for it, we will apply it.
Before you come in
Do I need to book, or can I walk in?
Both work. Walk-ins are always welcome, though from Friday lunchtime to Saturday close you may wait twenty minutes or more. Booking takes about thirty seconds and holds the chair for you.
How should my hair be when I arrive?
As it normally is. If you usually wear product, wear it in, because that is how the cut will sit when you leave. Please do not wet it down first, we would rather see what we are working with.
What if I do not know what I want?
That is most people. Tell us roughly what you are after, or bring a photograph, or just say keep it tidy. We will talk it through before any clippers come out.
Can I bring my child?
Yes, and plenty of people do. There is a booster board for the chair and a box of toys by the window. First haircuts get a lock of hair in an envelope to take home, if you want it.
Do you cut women's hair?
Yes. Short cuts, undercuts and clipper work are all things we do well. We are honest about what we are not set up for, so if you want a long layered style we will point you to a salon that will do it properly.
